Chief Operations Officer (COO), Lead Engineer: Eric L. Foster, MSME
Mr. Foster received his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering at OSU. He has held positions at Abbott
Laboratories and The Cleveland Clinic Foundation where he was responsible for device testing and
development of new test protocols and equipment. As a graduate student at OSU, Mr. Foster was
responsible for the development of the first prototype treadmill exercise system.
Chief Scientific Officer (CSO): Orlando P. Simonetti, PhD
As Director of Cardiovascular MR R&D at Siemens Medical, Dr. Simonetti took a leadership role in the
early days of cardiac MRI for identifying the market, developing new technologies as well as marketing
materials/strategies, organizing focus groups, and directly supporting sales to key early adopters.
Through these efforts, Siemens became the market leader in the field of Cardiovascular MRI. Dr.
Simonetti is currently Research Director of Cardiac MR/CT at OSU.
Chief Medical Officer (CMO): Subha V. Raman, MD, MSEE
Dr. Raman, Medical Director of Cardiovascular MRI for the OSU Health System, completed medical
school and fellowship training in cardiology at OSU and has since developed the OSU Medical Center’
s MR and CT cardiovascular imaging program to become one of the leading in the country attracting
patients, faculty, trainees and collaborators from around the world.
Chief Technology Officer (CTO): John W. Arnold, MSAgE, PE
Mr. Arnold received his B.S. and M.S. degrees at OSU, where he is the Program Coordinator for the
Hydraulic Power and Motion Control AAS degree. Mr. Arnold has more than 26 years of experience in
the field of hydraulics, including development of machines for agriculture, mining and construction
Controller: Beth Lloyd, B.A
Ms. Lloyd earned her B.A. in Accounting from Loyola College, and brings a wealth of accounting and
financial expertise from both the public and private sectors. Her experience in both large (OAO
Technology Solutions, Arthur Anderson, LLP) and small (Adverising.com, Inc, Eyemaginations, Inc.)
corporate environments has enabled her to combine the flexibility necessary in a startup environment
with the principals and practices required of a much larger organization. Through this range of
knowledge, she has been able to create the systems and processes suitable for each stage of
company growth, while continually planning for future needs.
Product Development and Support Engineer: Vijay Balasubramanian, MSEE
Mr. Balasubramanian received his B.E degree in India and M.S degree at OSU. He was a Research
Engineer at OSU where he developed, tested and validated hardware and software solutions for the
initial prototype. With a keen eye for detail and demonstrated ability to tackle new problems and find
innovative solutions, he continues to design, develop, implement and validate solutions for the "beta"
prototype and final product.
